It follows the success of the massive debut Reaktor/It’s On, and more recently the relentless and impassioned 1000 Things/Last Show. Recent remixes for Fischerspooner, Headman, Underworld and Make Model have also contributed to making autoKratz undoubtedly one of the most exciting new prospects in their field. Each release has enjoyed great success with press and radio, finding spots on the playlists of Pete Tong, Jon Kennedy, Annie Mac and Eddy Temple Morris (XFM), who described the band as “the coolest people making the hottest records of the moment”.
Pardon Garcon is a driving monster which comprises of a prowling bass hook, an addictive vocal, and compulsive beats & bleeps. This is a storming re-edit of the track which first reared its head on the astonishingly good Kitsune Maison 5 Compilation, and is certain to be one of the summers essential electro anthems. The other side is taken up by the machine-like French Girls Play Guitar, a rich melodic stomper with a massive chorus and industrial echo’s of Kraftwerk.
The autoKratz live experience has built a reputation for being one of the most exciting, energetic and innovative shows in electronic music. David and Russell continue to vigorously tour their electronic rock and roll assault across the globe, and will be taking their unique show to a string of summer festivals.
