Digitalism is back with a new version of Idealistic with WhoMadeWho cover, A-Trak fresh mix and Hystereo power re-brand. This is a stand-out track from the recent “Idealism” opus. Digitalism make their synthesizers and archaic PC act like rock instruments. On ' Idealistic' they put lo-fi scrappy vocals... "I had the idea that you were near"... on top of jagged guitars and heavily compressed electronic pulses. The resulting track sits perfectly on both Rock and Electronic dancefloors. Next up is a jacked-up version by Hystereo who toughen up the beats, expertly chop the organ sound and add some raucous synth lines to create an absolute club bomb! The brilliant WhoMadeWho add their own live instrumentation and vocals to produce a unique, stripped-back interpretation… both clever and hypnotic! Lastly, but by no means least, a stunning remix from Kanye West DJ A-Trak. Injecting a whole load of funk into the track with some fine 80s flourishes… a tasty organ riff and hooky vocal refrain all adds up to something completely fresh!
